frankFrank Gutting

Associate Pastor, Biblical Counselor, Elder

Frank was born and raised in San Antonio. He has worked in a variety of different careers, from a cell phone technician, to an insurance agent, to a juvenile corrections officer. During his time as a corrections officer, he found the preaching ministry of John MacArthur and was eventually converted.

After conversion, Frank had a growing desire for ministry. The Lord led Frank to Grace Bible Church in 2015 to join the starting core group, and then he became a member with the founding membership group in 2016. At GBC the desire for ministry continued to grow and mature under the faithful discipleship of the Elders of Grace Bible Church. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles, including a Deacon, bible teacher, and “sound guy.” Frank also completed his Bachelor’s of Christian Ministry from Wayland Baptist University (2017). In 2018, Frank left for southern California to study at the Master’s Seminary. He completed his Master of Divinity degree in May 2020, after which he joined the staff of Grace Bible Church as an Associate Pastor. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry in Biblical Counseling from the Master's University.

Frank is a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), oversees the counseling ministry at Grace Bible Church, the Grace Center for Counseling and Discipleship, and trains counselors by walking them through the ACBC certification process.
